LANDING CRAFT FOR NAVY
HUGE U.S. BUILDING PLAN
(Rec. 11 p.m.) WASHINGTON. May 4. The chairman of the Senate Naval Affairs Committee (Senator David Walsh) has introduced legislation authorising the acquisition, conversion, and construction of millions of tons of navy landihg craft estimated to cost 1,422,000,000 dollars, including 14,000 landing craft, and 5000 special boats.
