SUCCESSFUL PROGRAMME

A successful programme of sports among competitors from Christchurch retail houses was held at Rugby Park on Saturday afternoon. As well as the interhouse sports, a number of inter-cluo events "were held. Proceeds from the meeting, which was called the Inter-House Victory Games, were in aid of patriotic funds.’ The Mayor (Mr E. H. Andrews) opened the meeting.
