—_# . LONDON, November 3. Fourteen British subjects living on the Riviera have been arrested and Interned, states a report from Vichy. Most are wealthy, and sortie, who have lived in France for a number of years, possess big estates. The Riviera internment is said to be « reprisal for the British arrest of 14 French nationals in Syria, who refused to rally to the support of General de Gaulle.
