DISORDERLY BEHAVIOUR

(P.A.) AUCKLAND. November 3. Found walking naked in Queen street at 4.20 o’clock this morning, Joseph Viscqe, aged 48, a timber worker, was taken into custody by a constable, |nd later pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court to a charge of behaving in a disorderly manner. “Viscoe left his clothes in a heap near the Town Hall,” said Sub-Inspec-tor Macnamara. “The constable says he appeared to be quite normal. Viscoe told the constable he had taken ill and had removed all his clothes in order to get his breath. Viscoe has a long list of previous convictions, mostly for drunkenness.”

The Magistrate (Mr J. Morling, S.M.) imposed a fine of £5, in default 10 days’ imprisonment.
