Knight, beat Miss P. Ellwood, 7 and 5; Mrs J. M. Preston beat Mrs L. S. Smith, 6 and 5; Miss N. Gillespie beat Mrs H. Sparrow, 2 up. In the semi-final, Miss Knight beat Mrs Large, 4 and 2; Mrs Preston beat Miss Gillespie, 4 and 2. In the second round of the junior championship, Miss K. Clements beat Mrs G. B. Lav/, 3 and 2; Mrs J. McNish beat Mrs D, P. Brennan, 1 up: Miss M. Donaldson beat Mrs A. T. Dunn, 3 and 2; Mrs H. M. Mlnson beat Mrs J. Pierce, 7 and 5. In the semi-final. RANGIORA LADIES’ CLUB Members of the Ranglora Ladies’ Golf Club played the June L.G.U. and club medal rounds on Saturday. Best cards were;— Mrs E. Ryde, 111, 31—80; Miss J. Macdonald, 107, 25—82. The bisque bogey match played on Thursday resulted:—Mrs A. Ryde, 1 up; Mrs' E. Ryde, 2 up; Mrs H. Thompson, all square.
