(P.S.S.) WELLINGTON, June 19. The weather forecast for Canterbury, issued at 5 p.m. by the Meteorological Office, -Wellington, and dealing with the 24 hours following the time of issue, is as follows: Moderate south-west to west winds. Weather fair to fine, with slightly milder day temperatures. WEST COAST The forecast for the West Coast of the South Island is:— Light to moderate, variable winds, with westerlies gradually predominating. Weather fair to fine at first, but cloud increasing generally, and scattered rain developing in the south. Temperatures slightly milder.
