The Christchurch Model Yacht Club sailed the ninth club race of the season on Saturday on Victoria Lake, and 10 boats competed in a fresh northerly breeze. Results: — First heat—A. Laycock’s Antony (hdcp. 9min 30sec) 1, W. Beauchamp’s Avenger (smin 40sec) 2, B. George’s Westward (4min) 3, B. Wall’s Invader (Imin lOsec) 4, H. E. Laycock's Windsor (7min 50sec) 5. Time, 28min 40sec. Second Heat—Windsor 1, Antony 2, Avenger 3. Westward 4, J. Spencer’s Reveille (scr) 5, Time, 25min. Final—Antony, 13 points. 1: Windsor, 9 points, 2; Avenger, 8 points, 3; Westward, S points, 4.
