AUGMENTING FARM PRODUCTION
MORE LABOUR TO SUPPLY FOOD
Arrangements belnjg- made- to stimulate farm production- and, augi ment food supplies by making, more labour available through widening tiio scope of scheme 4S and transferring men from scheme 13 are disclosed in a memorandum to scheme is employing authorities issued on Wednesday by Mr A. J. Ridler, assistant-secretary to the employment division of the Department of Labour. A copy of the memorandum was received at - the Rangiora County office yesterday,.: . It is therefore necessary that the Dominion should make every effort to augment supplies adequately.
