TO THE EDITOR OT THE PRESS. Sir. —The suggestion of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce about price fixation will not do at all. Mr Sullivan will have to keep the Government «p to scratch on this point. He must make it his duty to see that the Government makes itself a permanent protector of the general consumer against the coat-raising complex of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce, There must be no retreat when peace cornea from the position now taken up.—Yours, etc., KAYE HOE.
