F.Jpnes) explained that in 1035 the control of stamps was transferred ttp*n the Stamp Duties Office to the P*? 3 * and Telegraph Department, and the bill simply validated that change. The Auditor-General had permitted the Mew arrangement; to proceed on the understanding that validating legislation would be introduced. , Vqo bill was read a first time.
