Currie, of Methven, will take place soon, was the guest of honour at a pleasant afternoon party held at “Glenbrae,” Alford Forest, j The afternoon was pleasantly spent in games, competitions,'and items given by Mesdames B|sdA c X and McFarlane and Misses Bcck"and Hart.
Those present were Mesdames W. Lock, H. Lock, L. Goodrich, Scott, E. Grigg, R. Grigg, A. Grigg A. Hart, Totty, G, Rountree, McFarlane, Biddick, Shrewry, Kean, Misses Lock, Carleton, Hart, Hewson, Stevenson, Beck. Hood, N. -McFarlane. Mrs P. W, Ruddenklau and Mrs Edwin Lock were hostesses at a pantry afternoon party held at "Springfield, Methven, in honour of Miss Lock. Hodder and Mr and Mrs Norman Morrison were the guests of honour at a very enjoyable dance held* last night in the Mayfair lounge by ,the staff of Riseley Motors, Ltd. Members of the organising committee .were Miss Thelma ■ Riseley, Messrs W. Barlow, G, Dangerfield. and E. Rivers’, ’ Mrs Hodder wore a frock of deep larkspur blue matallasse, metal-run with silver; Mrs Morrison wore a frock of white and green floral crepe and a green taffeta coatee; Miss Margaret Hodder wore a frock of lilac taffeta: and Miss Riseley’s frock of black' lacquered taffeta was brightened .by. an inset panel of cyclamen taffeta. Music was played by the Mayfair orchestra, and extras by Mr L. Kinsman. An Exhibition dance was given by the pupils of .and Mrs Sydney Hollis. Among those present were Mesdames Cecil Kingsford, R.
