OPENING OF PENSIONERS’ COTTAGES
The cottages which have been built at Sydenham by the Christchurch City. Council for the housing of pensioners will be opened on Saturday by the Mayor (Mr. H. M. Macfarlane, M.P.). The cottages, four in number, contain altogether 16 units, and provide accommodation for 16 married couples. They are situated in Barnett avenue, facing Sydenham Park/
