IMPROVEMENTS TO PARK AT WAIMATE

Two mains are being -put through Knottingly Park, ■ Waimate, 'running east and west, with smaller drains joining them. Knottingly Park has always accumulated surface water, and it is hoped by this means to effect a considerable improvement. The work is being carried out by borough relief labour under scheme 13, and provides a useful avenue of employment in a slack season of the year. ,
