'' ’ ■pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a Poll of Ratepayers in the Special Area described in Sub-section 4 of Section 36 of the Local Legislation Act, 1938, which Special Area comprises that part of the Board’s district known as the Lake Subdivision, excluding therefrom Reserves Numbers 3048 and 4349 and that part of the Southbridge and Leeston Survey Districts described in Sub-section 2 of Section 88 of “The Reserves and Other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act,' 1917,” will be held on SATURDAY, the Ninth day of SEPTEMBER, 1939, on the proposal of the Ellesmere Lands Drainage Board to raise a Special Loan of FIFTEEN THOUSAND POUNDS (£.*15.000), to be known as the “Permanent Outlet to Lake Ellesmere Loan, 1938,” particulars of which were advertised in “The Press” Newspaper on the 22nd and 27th days of July, sth and 12th days of August, 1939, and also in the “Ellesmere Guardian” on the 25th day of July, Ist, Bth, and 15th days of August, 1939. The polling places will be situated as follows: Public Hall, Kaituna. Public Hall, Motukarara. Public Hall, Springston South. Public Hall, Greenpark. Public Hall, Lakeside.
