CLANSMAN SLIPPED FOR REPAIRS (PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEOBAJT.) v AUCKLAND, August 22. The steamer Clansman, which was beached on Thursday near Coromandel, and refloated yesterday, arrived at Auckland this morning under her own power and went on the slip for repairs on various parts of the hull. , . ' ' Temporary repairs had been carried out with tin sheathing before her return to Auckland. REMUERA LATER The New Zealand Shipping Company has been advised that the RemUera, en route from London, is now due at Wellington on Monday, and will arrive at Lyttelton on Tuesday. AWATEA FOR OVERHAUL With a skeleton cfew aboard, the Awatea left Wellington on Saturday night for Sydney, where she will undergo her annual overhaul and survey. The Maunganul, which is replacing the Awatea in the intercolonial service, left for Sydney on Saturday afternoon. The Awatea will return to Wellington after her overhaul and resume in the service on October 13. INTERCOLONIAL SERVICE leaves Sydney August 25 for Auckland; due August 29. Leaves Auckland August 31 for Sydney, due September 4, and Melbourne, due September 6. • Maunganui left Wellington August 19 for Sydney: due .to-day.
