TAXI FARES
TO TBS SDfrOB 'OF THS PBSBB. Sir,—Mr Trillo, in his first letter, used the words “are not making wages,” which is present tense; and it was on those four words that I based my challenge. , u In his reply to my letter, he uses the words "past and present." I am not concerned with the past. The depression is over, and it is not for me to prove to Mr Trillo. but for Mr TriUo to prove to me. Also, there are failU res in every line of business, and it is of the majority I write, not each and every one. . If Mr Trillo will accept the challenge as read in this letter, my cheque win be deposited with the editor within 24 hours.— FQX August 21, 1939.
