AN ADDRESS APPRECIATED

TO THE EDITOR OT THE PRESS Sir,—l also would be glad of the opportunity to expres my appreciation of the broadcast Catholic Church address. The Christ of Calvary’s Cross, and the 1 mother of our Lord, is always the main topic of importance, as preached by the Catholic preacher. The “Hail Mary, full of graqe. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst, women.” The woman is adored. As a Protestant also. I can put myself in the place of the man in the street, groping his lyay in the darkness, seeking for spiritual enlightenment from someone, seeking for an interpreter to unfold to him the way of life, everlasting, which is to be found In the Word of God, in which Christ is the main theme and hope of salvation, as expounded by the Catholic preacher, always. No wonder the atheist, in his “ignorance,” blames . the Church.—Yours, etc.. OUT SIDER. j August 21. 1938. t
