TO THE EDITOR Or THE PRESS. Sir, —There is no trade being harder hit just now than the fish retailers, and as 1 hear they have an affiliation, why are they not protected? Entering a grocery store in the city last week I noticed a smell of fish, and there were salt fish and mutton birds for sale. I believe the fish shops in London sell all kinds of tinned and bottled fish and meats, and even pickles and sauces, so why not fish retailers retaliate by doing the same. Personally, I prefer to buy my butter and bacon . from a shop not smelling of smoked fl ' h - Y ° urs - <*.. FAIR deal. August 21. 1939.
