The weather forecast for Canterbury and Marlborough issued at 5 p.m. by tilt Meteorological Office, WeWmston, and dealing with the 24 hours following the time of issue, is as follows: Winds north-easterly on parts of the coast, north-westerly inland. Force, strong in places, but mainly moderate. Weather fair to fine but becoming showery in the ranges. Milder temperatures. Seas slight.
