SOCIAL SERVICES IN EMPIRE
DEPARTMENT ADDED TO COLONIAL OFFICE
LONDON, March 16
In a fortnight there will be established in the Colonial Office a Social Services Department in charge of an assistant secretary, which .will work in close co-operation with medical, educational, labour, and other advisers of the Secretary of State on all matters affecting the Colonial Empire.
