GIFTS OF WOOLLEN DRESSES
PLAN BY U.S. AND EMPIRE GROWERS (Received March 16, 9 p.m.) WASHINGTON, March 15. It is announced that British Empire and American woolgrowers have arranged for the British growers tc present a dress to Mrs Roosevelt, made of British wools, and the American members a dress to Queen Elizabeth made of American wools. The gifts are “to symbolise the historic role which wool played in the development hf trade and commerce in the two nations/’
