The body pf Frederick Walter J. Talbut, an employee at the Hutt workshops, was discovered by a railway employee underneath the bridge behind the workshops at 9.3Q a.m, yesterday. -He had clocked In at 745 a.m. but was subsequently missed by his fellow workers and a search was instituted. He had been, under medical attention. Talbut, aged about 61, leaves a wife and family—Press Association.
Farthings to the number of 14,660 were handed over as a gift at a missionary bazaar at Southend. They had been collected by a nurse, who received gifts of the coin from all over Britain.
