WOODEND-WAIKUKU FARMERS’ UNION
OFFICERS ELECTED AT ANNUAL MEETING
Officers elected for the ensuing year at the annual meeting of the WoodendWaikuku branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Unvorv at. Woodend on Wednesday evening were:—President, Mr J. R. Keeper: vice-presidents, Messrs A. Stalker, F. McQuillan; secretarytreasurer, Mr M. Leech; committee, Messrs D. Petrie, Inch, P. Morris, A. Quin, Wilson, B. Tully, J. Pearson, and D. Smith.
The branch will make inquiries about the grassland competition with a view to entering. An invitation will be extended to the president of the Provincial Executive and to members of neighbouring Farmers’ Union branches to attend the annual smoke concert on April 19.
