LIEDERKRANZCHEN
ANNUAL MEETING HELD The Christchurch Liederkranzchen has now 50 subscribing and 37 singing members, according to the annual report presented to the annual meeting last evening. It has music valued at £94. The. financial statements showed a credit .balance of £34 13s 3d, and assets amounting to £l3B 12s lid, with no liabilities. The following ' officers were elected:—President, Madame A. M. Gower Burns; vice-presidents, Mesdames H. J. Quarrell, J. E. Mason, J. W. Palk, Misses Blanche Atkinson, J. Denniston and Millicent Jennings; conductor, Mr Alfred Worsley; accompanist, Mrs J. C. Cullman: secretary, Mrs R. Broadbelt; treasurer, Mrs S. L. Wright; librarian, Miss Olive Smart; assistant librarians. Miss Grace Torkington and Mrs F. Reeve; honorary auditor. Mr E. S. Bowie: committee. Mrs F. N. Kerr, Mrs T. C. W. Pugh, 'Mrs A. M. West, Mrs C. Ayling. Mrs R. E. Voller.
