MILLER DIVING CUP DECIDED
CLUB 100 YAEDS RECORD BROKEN ‘ The final of the diving competition for the Miller Cup was held at the Oamaru Public Baths on Tuesday night. In the event, which is a handicap competition, there were seven entrants, and there were three stages. The results, with handicaps in “arenthesis are as follows:—Miss B. Smith (6 points), 47.5 points, 1; Miss A. Wilson (9 points), 40.7 points, 2; R. Nicholson (3 points), 39.8 points, 3. J. W. Clulee .Was successful in an attempt to break tbe club record for
the 100 yards freestyle, reducing the time from 67 3-ssec to 62 2-ssec.

PORT OF O AMARU (XXB PRESS Special Serrlee.l OAMARU, March 9. Arrival—Wainui (1633 tons), Duncan, at 5.30 p.m. yesterday, from Dunedin. Departure—Wainui, at midnight yesterday for Wellington, Gisborne, and Napier, via Tlmaru and Lyttelton. The Wainui will, load on Wednesday, March 22, for Wellington, Gisborne, and Napier, via ports. The Waipahi is due about Thursday, March 16. to load for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth. The Karetu was due at Sydney yesterday to start loading for Lyttelton, Timaru, Oamaru, Dunedin, and Bluff, via Newcastle, Edinburgh, and Hobart. The Waipiata is due to leave Auckland on Friday, March 17, for southern ports, including Oamaru. This vessel is , expected at the port on Saturday, March 25, to discharge and load out for Wellington and Auckland, via ports.
