STANLEY MCKAY’S “GAIETIES”

* On Friday night next Mr Stanley McKay will have the pleasure of presenting his new “Gaieties” 1 Vaudeville and Revue Company 'at- St. James’ Theatre. As usual with‘Mr McKay’s shows, the comedy is a big feature, and in. this respect he has secured the services of Bert Le Blanc, whose sue-

cess in the palmy days of the Fuller companies will be remembered by vaudeville lovers of some 12 years ago. In addition is that popular Scottish comedian, Scotty McKinness, who has made a big reputation in Sydney. The specialities of the 1939 “Gaieties” are of a most outstanding nature, including George Hurd, the international Royal command juggling star, who has had the honour on several occasions of appearing before Royalty. Amongst the others are Dolly and Scotty, Australia’s premier dancing duo; the Resilients, clever knockabout dancers; the San Remos Brothers, extraordinary hand-balancers; Assam, ' Pekoe,' Souchon, and Conge, acrobatic clowns; Nellie Kblle, world-famed male impersonator; Stella Lamond, the brilliant Personality GitV, Snowy Towers, Barry Ross, Stella Collier; and Max Reddy. The box plan is at the D.I.C. *
