■ ■.—,— ♦ —— ANNUAL MEETING OF UNION FORTY DELEGATES To\ attend ’ The annual meeting of the Presb^terian Young Men’s Bible Class Union will be held at the Presbyterian, Boy s' Home, Papanui, on January 5 and 6. when about 40 delegates will be present from all over New Zealand. Mr A. J. MpEldowney, of Christchurch, will preside, and Mr E. J. Ward, oi Christchurch, is the Dominion secret union represents 568 classes with a membership of 4484. Th? members support two missionaries in the foreign field, the Rev. H. Davies, of China, now on furlough m New Zealand, and the Rev. Morten Rybum, of Kharar, India. Among important matters to be discussed at the meeting are the appointment of a youth worker, recommendations about the development of the work among senior members, the challenge of increased leisure* and a renewed emphasis upon evangelism. The headquarters have been in. Christchurch for three years, and now be transferred to Dunedin, ynn the executive council in that centre*
