WASHINGTON WAITING FOR NEXT . MOVE
(Received January 2, 7.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON, December 31.
The State Department's Sole comment on reports from Berlin that there is little hope of improved relations is that nothing new has occurred. The department's attitude is that any move must come from Germany. Borne authorities believe that the present lull in German attacks may precede positive action by the Nazis towards improving relations.
