ESCAPE FROM PAPARUA PRISON

UNSUCCESSFUL SEARCH

Remanded for trial to the Supreme Court, a man, aged 38 years, escaped from the Paparua- Prison about 4.30 yesterday afternoon. The usual search methods were adopted, but. late. last night he had not been found. When he left he was wearing a brownish grey coat, a battered felt hat, tan shoes, and light trousers. He is described as being five foot six inches in height, of medium build, with a fresh complexion, with-auburn hair and blue eyes.
