April U. _ After he had lain- in hospital for 16 day*' in a serious condition, the death occurred to-night of Ken Millar, the fireman on the excursion train which was derailed at Ratana on March 26. Millar, who was badly scalded about the body, was aged 34 and lived at Ngaio, Wellington. He leaves a widow and three children. Millar's deaffi makes the seventh victim' of the accident.

Members of the special board appointed to inquire into the Ratana railway accident left for Wanganui by special train to-day to inspect the scene of the derailment. They will also inspect the damaged rolling stock at ihe Eastown workshops. The inquiry Will open on Wednesday.
