WELLINGTON, March 9.

His Excellency the Governor-Gen-tral (Lord Galway) has received the following radio message from Captain R. W. Malhewson, of the United States cruiser Louisville: "On departing from New Zealand. the captain and ship's company of the Louisville desire to thank you for your kind greeting of welcome, and for the many courtesies extended during our most enjoyable visit. We take with us pleasant memories of our stay. Ail hope soon to have the privilege of an early return." . His Excellency has also received the following message from Commandant Auphan, of the French cruiser Jeanne "On leaving New Zealand waters. I wish to assure your Excellency of U»* pleasant memories of their stay carried away by all on board the Jeanne D'Arc, and to convey to your Excellency my warmest thanks."
