SOCIALISTS IX POLAND
DEMAND FOR ELECTORAL
REFORM
(Received November 15, V.3Q p.m.)
WARSAW, November 14
A first-class political sensation resulted when eight members of the Socialist Party, which has taken no part in the present Government, waited on the President of the Republic (M. Moscicki) in the Royal Castle and protested against the unsatisfactory nature of the electoral system.
They alleged the present system was prejudicial to the country's welfare, and demanded its reform and the holding of new and truly representative elections for both Houses.
