ANTI-JAPANESE BOYCOTT
TO THE EDITOB OF THX PBESS. Sir _"Also Peaceful," after enlarging on my version of the report of the Lytton Commission in 1931, goes on to say: "Such arrogance (i.e., that of the Japanese in 1931 and of the Prussians in 1870) demands stern measures and at the present time the boycott method is by far the most effective." Anyone wishing for proof that the boycott method is not effective need only refer to the few facts quotedm my letter which appeared in The Press" on November 11. I should like to emphasise the word "Facts. When and if any boycott of any country proves effective I will believe Also Peaceful."—Yours, etc., „„.,,_, FOR PEACE. November 15, 1937.
