PAPER HATS
Lots of fun can be had with paper hats. Here is .the way to make them:— , x Get some large sheets of paper. Brown paper will do, but, better still, hunt out some gay-coloured papers—reds, blues, and greens. Make each sheet not quite square —say a quarter more on one side than the other, as at A. Now fold as follows: — 1 Halve the long edges, and double the paper over so that the crease joins the two half-way joints, as at B. 2 Bend over the two upper corner's so that they meet down the middle, as at C. 3 Fold the lower edges, so that they double over the triangular top, one at the front and one at the back, as at D. The cap may now be opened out. It makes a nice addition if the hats are ornamented by having coloured
rosettes or other gay decorations pasted on to* them. The rosette shown at E not only serves as an ornament, but it helps to Keep the hat from coming undone;
