WOMEN'S TEMPERANCE UNION
4, Miss C. Henderson presided at the fortnightly meeting of the Christchurch branch of the Women's Christian Temperance Union. A vote of sympathy was passed to Mrs W. H. Robinson in the death of her husband. It was reported that two parcels of books had been sent to the Aniseed men's railway camp, and visits had been paid to patients at the Mental Hospital. Miss Christobel Robinson will speak at the next meeting, which will •be a social gathering.
