DROUGHT IN SOUTH AFRICA
LONDON, November 11
The Cape Town correspondent of "The Times" states that a drought in the greater part of South Africa is causing anxiety. Food prices are soaring and butter is so scarce that exports have been discontinued. Supplies are being imported from New Zealand and London.
The Government is supplying farmers with cheap maize to feed their stock.
