FRENCH SECRET SOCIETY
RAID MADE BY PARIS POLICE QUANTITY OF WAR MATERIAL FOUND (Received September 17, 7.30 p.m.): PARIS, September 16. Police, searching the Paris headquarters of the secret organisation called the Cagoulards (Hooded Men), found a large number of ma-chine-guns, hand grenades, and other munitions. The Ministry of the Interior states that the Cagoulards are attached to the Right parties, and have been under the surveillance of the secret police for some time. Four arrests were made and mor« are likely.
