MISS JEAN BATTEN'S PLANS
AEROPLANE OVERHAULED AND CERTIFIED (Received September 18, 12.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, September 17. The "Sun" says Miss Jean Batten's Percival Gull aeroplane has been thoroughly overhauled, and the certificate of airworthiness was renewed to-day. Miss Batten, however, declined to reveal her plans.
