I would draw its attention to a long neglected area, viz. Dover street which badly needs taking through to Cranford street, so that people on foot could get a tram at Berwick street or Oxley street. This improvement to this part of St. Albans would be greatly appreciated in the com.mg summer—l mean easy access to St. Albans Park—and would take the children off the streets, and be a blessing all round. If you live in this locality you have to go a long way to get anywhere, and Edgeware road is a danger from fast motor traffic, and the present tram stop is inconvenient when you race for a tram. Also, travelling motorists are often lost in Dover street when they wish to travel eastwards Yours, etc., „ RESIDENT September 16, 1937.
