Bodies Loans Act, 1926, Notice is hereby given that the Cheviot County Council proposes to take a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Cheviot on a proposal that the Council raise a loan of £15,000, to be known as "The Cheviot County Bridges and Culverts Loan. 1937." * (a) The purpose for which the loan is required is to meet the Council's share of the cost of constructing reinforced concrete bridges or culverts at all open ford "crossings in the County. (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purposes is £15,000. (c) The proposed term of the loan is 35 years and the proposed security for its repayment is a Special Rate, ultimately of 11/64 d in the £l, to provide interest at 3J per cent, per annum and a sinking fund of 1J per cent per annum accumulating at Compound Interest for the term of the loan. 'd) It is not proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan or the interest and sinking fund for the first year. A. R.
