FLYING-BOAT SERVICE TO SOUTH AFRICA
TWICE-WEEKLY TRIPS FROM SOUTHAMPTON (BRITISH OFFICIAL WIBELIISS.I RUGBY, June 2. The Imperial Airways new flying boat service between England and South Africa was inaugurated today from Southampton by the Canopus, which carried passengers and about a ton of mail. The flying-boats will operate with Durban as a terminus and covei 8000 miles in six days and a half. In future they will leave Southampton twice weekly.
