EARL BALDWIN’S HONOURS
INVESTITURE AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE (BRITISH OITICIAI WIRELESS.) RUGBY, June 1. Earl Baldwin, who was created a Knight of the Garter by the King on resigning the Prime Ministership on Friday, was invested with the insignia of the Order at Buckingham Palace to-day. An investiture was also held for Countess Baldwin, who was created a Dame Grand Cross of the British Empire. Lord and Lady Baldwin were entertained at lunch by the King and Queen.
