HEAVY FALL OF SNOW CAUSES
ANXIETY
(BBITISB OFFICIAL WIMXE3S.) RUGBY,- March 23. .Little change has taken place in the flooded fen district since yesterday. . Immediate danger has been averted, but with the approach of high tides in two days' time the position must remain a cause of Anxiety. Heavy snow fell yesterday in areas which drain into the GreaJ Ouse and Cam. This may add to the difficulties of the situation.

In a discussion in the House of Commons on the fenland floods, the Minister for Agriculture (Mr W. S. Morrison) said Government assistance would be given if the authorities devised a scheme to prevent inundations.
