FAREWELL SOCIAL
To enable friends to say good-bye to Mr E. H. Seagar, who will leave shortly for America, Mrs A. Keeffe was hostess at an evening social held in the Oddfellows' Hall, Papanui.
The time was spent in games and dancing, and items were given by Mr S. Brown, and Misses Healey and Hanifin.
Mrs Keeffe asked Mr Seagar to accept from his many friends a handsome leather writing case.
Amongst those present were Mesdames A. Keeffe, Brown, Misses M. Hanifin, D. Bray, B. Keeffe, P. Healey, M, Lenord, I. Kirkpatrick, N. Keeffe, E. Roberts, J. Aitkins, J. Brown. R. Brown, Messrs E. H. S-eagar, A. Watts, G. Wilson, G. Kirkpatrick, F. Geoghegan, Brown (2), C. Cockburn, J. Harrison, F. Kirkpatrick, L. Hopkinson, C. Gordon, Hastell, and R. Taplin.
