A very heavy entry of breeding ewes at the Addington dock market yesterday met an excellent sale. There was a keen demand for all classes at better prices. Store lambs were also higher. Fat stock were inclined to ease, the holiday having restricted the demand. 6
I There was a moderate turnover o n the Christchurch Stock Exchange yesterday, when values were generally firmer. Mount Lyells were active again, but at higher prices, and Electrolytic Zincs also advanced.
