MINOR OUTBREAK OF DIPHTHERIA
FOUR CASES REPORTED IN v DISTRICT
A minor outbreak of diphtheria has occurred in the CanterburyWestland health district, according to Dr. T. Fletcher Telford, medical officer of,health for that area. All the cases are connected with a patient in Kaikoura, who contracted the disease, and who is now in the Kaikoura Hospital. Three other patients had all been in contact with this case, and have been admitted to the Bottle Lake Hospital.
