CONDITIONS IN MENTAL HOSPITAL
TO THE EDITOR O? THE PHEBS. Sir,—ln -reply to Peter Trolove's letter that Maud E. Faff is dissatisfied with conditions of mental hospitals, the conditions have slightly improved, as a patient said, An airer has been installed and the food is better than formerly. An interest is taken in the patients by way of mdtor drives by members of the W.C.T.U., also provide fruit and clothes to the destitute patients. But there is room for greater improvements by way of more recreation. If the medical profession used the same methods as a psychologist there would hot be the need for a great number going to mental hospitals. —Yours, etc.. > ' HAPPINESS. February 12, 1937.
