RELEASE OF CHIANG KAI-SHEK
( ELEBKATIONS IN CHINA NANKING, December 27. Twenty thousand people demonstrated at the aerodrome to-day in celebration of Marshal Chiang Kaishek's release when the Minister for War (Mr Ho Ying-shin) read a message from Marshal Chang Hsueh-liang (leader of the revolt), stating thai recent events had proved that the nation under the Republican organisation was a forceful state. Several others who were kidnapped with Marsha. Chiang Kaishek have now been released. They include Marshal Chiang Kai-shek's chief of staff and the Vice-Minister for War. It is rumoured that Mr T. V. Soong will shortly replace Marshal Chiang Kai-shek as President of the Central Executive.
