♦ CHARGE OF BEING INTOXICATED Remus Gordon Lilley, labourer, Thackeray street, Christchurch, was charged in the Magistrate's Court at Kaiapoi yesterday before the Rev. W. H. A. Vickery and Mr A. S. Palmer, J.'sP., with being intoxicated in charge of a motor-car. He was fined £2O and ordered to pay costs, and was prohibited from obtaining a motor driver's license until June 1, 1938. On a charge of having no motor driver's license, he was convicted and discharged.
