Poolta is loading timber for Miramar and Wellington, and coal for Miramar, and sails to-morrow. Gabriella has completed her Westport timber cargo and sails to-morrow for Sydney if the bar moderates. Rata leaves Wellington on Wednsday for Westport and Greymouth and is due on January 4 to load coal for Tarakohe and Wanganui. Kalingo is due early from Eden, Newcastle, and Sydney with cargo for New Plymouth, Picton, Akaroa, and Greymouth. Waimea will probably load timber for Picton at Greymouth about January 8. PORT OF WESTPORT [THE PRESS Special Service.] WESTPORT, December 28. Huanui is an expected arrival from Wellington to-morrow or Wednesday. Te Aroha, in port with cargo for discharge from Wellington, is expected to sail to-morrow for Wellington, via Little Wanganui and Westhaven. Waimea, in port loading for Nelson, is expected to sail this evening provided weather conditions are suitable. This vessel is expected to return to Westport about January 2 to load for New Plymouth. Rata is due to leave Nelson to-day for Westport. She proceeds thence to Wellington, returning later to Westport and Greymouth to load for Tarakohe and Wanganui. High water at Westport to-morrow: 10.53 a.m. and 11.18 p.m. (standard time).
